Remaining almost unchanged over the centuries, the old town was made famous in the middle of the 18th Century by Bernardo Bellotto (Canaletto) when he painted the skyline.

The apartments „Einkehr“ and “Kirchplatz” are located in a town house, which dates from the 16th Century, in the Center of the historic old town of Pirna next to the church St. Mary and close by Tom-Pauls-Theater.
